Two new community arts festivals are enlivening the arts scene in Anne Arundel County. Begun in fall of 2021, Art in the Park features fine art, world music and jazz and delicious Mediterranean food. The second year of the outdoor festival will take place on Sunday, September 18, 2022 in Severna Park (rain date September 25). Annapolis Jazz & Roots Festival events will take place November 4-15, 2022.
 
The goal of these festivities is to foster an appreciation for cultural diversity and artistic excellence in a cordial and inviting atmosphere. Inspiring, educational and fun activities will entertain participants of many interests, ages and backgrounds. Proceeds will benefit The Food Project.
